Prerequisites: The site is very straightforward and has simple instructions to follow. There are no prerequisites for this site as I do not anticipate any issues.

Intuitiveness: The site has specific directions and is very simple to add information into the games. It is also very intuitive in its progression to sharing the link.

An Alternative: The site Jeopardy Rocks is the most similar to this site. It has a lot of the same features, however, Jeopardy Rocks is more engaging and student friendly from what I saw.

As a Resource for the Classroom

Benefits:

There are no restrictions on the topic of the game users make or the categories that they chose to include.

Students can access jeopardy games that their teachers make. They can access these from anywhere with internet connection, the link, and the game code.

•  Students can play these games at school as a center or review game but can use them at home to review or reinforce concepts.

Students can create their own games as a means of studying, like flashcards, but more engaging.

Teachers can use this jeopardy game as a full lesson for any and every topic discussed in class.

Users can choose their own icons and names for each team

“JeopardyLabs is a very easy website to use, I’m pretty sure my grandmother could figure it out if she was so inclined. Aside from that there’s also a nice feature that allows you to search other templates for one that you might find useful. Knowledge of HTML is useful, but not required, and you can access or edit your templates from anywhere you can access the internet (as long as you have the link).” — Review

“This is really SO easy to use! You can also search through Jeopardy games created by others. You won’t be able to edit these but you may find a ready made game that fits your needs perfectly.” — Review

Drawbacks:

Users need access to the internet in order to access or create any game on this site.

Teachers cannot access or view specific students’ progress or use of the games in any way.

Tips:

Have the game you are making planned out so that it does not take a while to create all of the options.

Before you reinvent the wheel, browse through other Jeopardy games because someone may have already made one for you

Problems to Solve and Possible Uses:

Boring forms of review for students

This site offers students a very fun and enriching game to play both at home and in school. It makes studying or reviewing into a game and not a requirement.

Lack of in-class activities for teachers to assign

This site gives teachers another activity to incorporate into the class either as an extra practice, an after work game, center game, etc.

This is a link to the mock Jeopardy Labs game that I created.

Overall, I would highly suggest this web source to future and current educators!
